What is platinum ?

Mainly in Hokkaido, from the sand of rivers such as Kitami, Teshio, Ishikari it seems that it was collected by the bowl method.

Sand platinum has been found not only in Hokkaido also found in Niigata prefecture.
The most common platinum alloy is platinum 900 (Pt900) typical alloy of 90% platinum with it is added alloy10% palladium.

Platinum is one of the rarest and most durable precious metals.

The amount of mining is about 1/20 a year of that of gold ,it is a highly rare precious metal.
Platinum is not white gold !

Afterwards, it’s given a beautiful coating with a rare, silvery-white metal called rhodium.
This final rhodium finish gives white gold its luminous sheen.
